Played this course once on a very wet day. Need to come back.

Walton Heath Golf Club
I’ve been very lucky to play at Walton Heath.
This is a superb golf course, quite unbelievable that it’s inside the M25. Everything about the golf club is amazing. From it’s history, that includes Winston Churchill as a member, through to the practise green and the courses themselves. I played on the New Course which is adjacent to the old course.
At least one of the holes on the New Course is played when the British Masters is played here.

Royal Automobile Club
A stunning location with a grand country house as a centerpiece. The old course I played is a challenge but very playable. Picturesque and serene. I really enjoyed my round here with a member who was great company.

Burhill Golf Club
I’ve played the New Course on a miserable, wet February day so really not seen it at a time I would prefer to play it. Without doubt Burhill is a really impressive club and playing up to the clubhouse on the par 3 eighteenth is quite spectacular.
Definitely need to come back when the sun is shining.

Challenging course with lots of interesting holes. Great sausage sandwiches at the half way house.

Oak Park Golf Club
I found Oak Park challenging.
It’s a fairly tight park land course with significant tree lined fairways and fairly long rough immediately off the fairway. It’s an undulating course too with some fairly steep climbs between some of the holes.
This course needs a revisit from me on a day when I’m confident of hitting straight !
