Dad and I were recommended to play Osborne House Golf Club when I was on the Isle of Wight playing a Wee Wonders competition. So with a few hours left before our ferry we stopped by and played nine holes.
The lady in the clubhouse was very friendly and pleased we were there. What an amazing course with a lot of history related to Queen Victoria. Read here for a description of its heritage.
Unfortunately because we played on a misty day we had no views beyond the course but what a course. So many trees ! My favourite was the seventh hole which is a sweeping downhill right dog leg.
Dad says he rates this his favourite course so far this year.
